Who we are
About The GLP Circle
The GLP Circle began in February 2024 as six people on a Thursday evening video call, because the only place any of us could find to ask an honest question was a comment section that made us feel worse.

What this is
We are a peer support community for people taking GLP-1 medications, and for some people running other peptide protocols. That means the primary thing here is not information. It is company. The information sits right next to the person and never instead of them.
In practice the site is four things. Circles are small named groups that meet on a rhythm and hold conversations between meetings. Journals are personal, dated, written by members for themselves and for whoever comes along six months behind them. Check-ins are one facilitator question a day and short answers from whoever wants to answer. Buddies are two people who agree to send each other four lines on a Sunday night.
Alongside those we keep about seventy practical guides, five tools, and a set of sourcing reference pages that exist because members ask and because the alternative is that a seller answers instead.
What we are not
We are not a medical service and we are not a substitute for one. Nobody here can tell you what to take, and the facilitators are trained in peer support, not medicine. Several of them have clinical backgrounds and are the strictest people on the site about not using them here.
We sell nothing. There is no membership fee, no premium tier, no supplements, no coaching, no affiliate links, and no paid placements in the vendor pages. The only outbound links on the site are the sponsor units, which are labelled as such, and which have no influence over anything editorial. We are not affiliated with any manufacturer, pharmacy, compounder or supplier.
We are also not a weight-loss community, and we have been deliberate about that from the beginning. There are no before-and-after photographs, no goal weights, no leaderboards and no progress-photo threads. Read our design choices if you would like to know why.
How it grew
The Thursday call became two calls, then a handful of small groups, then something that needed a website. Ada wrote the first version of the community agreements on a train. Jonah joined in April 2024 and immediately made us change how we talked about food, which was uncomfortable and correct. Mira arrived and made us stop interpreting each other's blood results. Benedikt turned up asking who was writing about year three, and then wrote about year three.
Facilitators are volunteers with peer support training. They are not paid, they are not clinicians in this role, and they are named — you can read their bios and see which circles each of them holds.
Where the writing comes from
Everything on this site was written by members and facilitators. The journals are personal accounts. The circle conversations are real threads. The guides are written by members with a relevant background and reviewed by the facilitator whose remit covers them, and every guide has a "what we do not know" section, because that section is the one that keeps people out of trouble.
We link our sources. Where a clinical claim appears in a guide we name the trial, the journal and the year, and where the honest answer is "that is not from a trial, that is what a few hundred people here have found", we say exactly that.
Getting in touch
The way to reach us is by email through the address in the footer of every page. We do not have a phone line, and we deliberately do not run any instant-messaging groups: they are impossible to moderate well, and a support community that cannot be moderated well is not a support community.
If you have found an error in a guide, please say so. Several of our best corrections have come from members who were annoyed with us.
