Copyright and takedown
If something here infringes your copyright, tell us and we will look at it properly and quickly.

What to send
Email our address in the site footer with the subject line "Copyright notice", and include: the URL of the page complained of; identification of the work you say has been copied; a statement of your good-faith belief that the use is not authorised; a statement that the information in your notice is accurate; your name and a contact email; and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
What we do
We acknowledge within two working days and act within seven. Where a complaint is well founded we withdraw the material and tell the member who posted it, including a copy of your notice. Where it is not, we tell you why in writing.
Counter-notices
A member whose content is withdrawn may send a counter-notice identifying the material, stating their good-faith belief that it was withdrawn in error, and providing contact details. We will forward it to you and may restore the material after ten working days unless you tell us proceedings have been started.
Quoting research
Our guides quote and cite published research under normal academic and fair-dealing conventions: short quotations, always attributed, with the journal and year given, and never a reproduction of a whole article. If you believe we have overstepped in a specific guide, tell us which one and we will edit it.
Repeat infringement
Accounts that repeatedly post infringing material are suspended.
