Neither of them has had a crisis. We include this because a site full of dramatic stories would misrepresent what most weeks are like.

Ted joined the buddy scheme apologetically, on the grounds that he was not struggling and might be taking a space from somebody who was. Gwen wrote almost exactly the same thing in her note. Ada paired them within a day and told them both to stop apologising.
Their messages are unremarkable. The allotment. A grandchild. A mild recurring symptom that has never become anything. Whether the Tuesday walk happened.
Ada's view, which she will give at length, is that this is the most under-rated pairing on the site: two people keeping a small steady practice going in the long uneventful middle, which is where most of a life with a long-term medication actually happens.
I felt like a fraud signing up because nothing was wrong. Ada told me that was the point and I have stopped arguing.
We mostly talk about the allotment. Two years of Tuesdays. I would notice immediately if it stopped.
