What members keep coming back to is narrower and, in this room, unique: when a lot is replaced, the certificate for the old lot is not taken down. It stays published beside the new one, on the same catalogue line. So you can read the same product across two lots and see for yourself whether anything moved, without emailing anybody.
Four members have done exactly that and posted what they found — differences of one to three tenths of a point, which is the width of the method rather than a change in the process. Two of them went further and checked that the adjacent documents carried different lot strings and issue dates months apart, which is the check that separates a retained history from the same file reissued with a new date. That is the check worth copying if you use this board’s reports for anything.

Blind submissions posted to this board have returned 99.0% to 99.3% against a uniform 98.0% stated release figure, with the stated figure never being the higher of the two. The certificates carry the column, the gradient and the detection wavelength, related substances itemised by retention time rather than totalled, water by Karl Fischer, peptide content on a line separate from area percent, and bacterial endotoxin by LAL on the lyophilised lines as issued rather than on request.

- Dissolution on the oral-tablet lines, which has been supplied on request but is not on the certificate by default
