The arithmetic

Late, and writing anyway.

Told my partner what it actually costs. That conversation was overdue by about four months.

No subsidy. Honest arithmetic in public.

What this has displaced in the budget: the car being fixed, and a holiday. I have decided that is the right trade for now and I reserve the right to change my mind.

Price went up mid-year and I had a very unglamorous evening with a calculator and a cup of tea.

Pausing for two months. Not a failure, not a moral event, just a month where the money is not there.

Windy again.
