Coming off

By choice, by cost, by side effect, or because your prescriber said so.

People stop for all sorts of reasons and almost nobody talks about it in public. This circle is for the deciding, the doing and the afterwards — including the honest bit about appetite returning and what the trial data actually shows about that.

What is not allowed here is the framing of stopping as failure, or of any return as a moral event. We have had that argument and we will have it again if we need to.

Who this circle is for

  • You are thinking about stopping
  • You have stopped recently
  • You stopped a long time ago and can say what year two off it was like

Agreements here

  • Stopping is a decision, not a verdict on your character
  • We name the evidence on discontinuation plainly and without threat

On top of the sitewide agreements.
