Conditions
Menopause and GLP-1
Three things at once, and untangling which is which.
Perimenopause changes sleep, mood, joints, temperature and appetite. So does this. So does being in your fifties. Working out which is which is genuinely difficult and the internet is unhelpfully certain about it.
This circle is for that untangling, for the HRT conversation running alongside, and for the specific frustration of having every symptom attributed to the wrong thing by turns.
Who this circle is for
- You are perimenopausal or postmenopausal and on treatment
- You are on HRT alongside
- You want language for an appointment where you are not being heard
Agreements here
- We name plainly that the interaction of HRT and these medications is not well studied
- No dismissing anybody's symptoms as "just menopause" or "just the medication"
