Prediabetes
The number that got somebody's attention.
A prediabetes result is often the first time anyone has taken a person's metabolic health seriously, and it arrives with a strange mixture of fear and relief. This circle is for that moment and the years after it.
We are careful here about the difference between risk and destiny, and about the language of blame that so often comes attached to the result.
Who this circle is for
- You have had a result in the prediabetes range
- You are weighing up options including but not limited to medication
- You moved out of the range and want to describe what that was like
Agreements here
- Risk is not destiny and a result is not a verdict on how you have lived
- We do not treat a number as a scoreboard
