Body and symptoms

Long covid and fatigue

Pacing, energy budgets, and a very careful approach.

For members living with long covid, ME/CFS or another post-viral fatigue condition, everything about this needs more care. Energy is already budgeted. A fortnight of nausea is not an inconvenience, it is a crash risk. And the standard advice to move more can be actively harmful.

This circle is built around pacing rather than pushing, and around members' own specialist teams.

Who this circle is for

  • You live with long covid, ME/CFS or post-viral fatigue
  • You are worried about a crash while starting or stepping up
  • You have found a pacing approach that survived a titration

Agreements here

  • No graded exercise advocacy. Pacing is the frame here
  • We plan around crashes rather than treating them as failures

On top of the sitewide agreements.
